This is a challenge at the true spatial awareness in AR.

This is superb because all of it is done automatically on the fly. (This is not the Meta’s room mapping. It’s my own solution.)

The next step is letting the girl sit on the chair and lean against the wall automatically.

I’m almost there. Give me a few more days to release the feature.

Here’s a new entry to the start screen. Choose the hand you like.

From the Body Mod menu, you can customize the hand by clicking this icon. (It’s kind of hidden.)

You can change the color of skin and nails, or scales and offsets.

What I’d like to tell you in this post is this.

• You don’t exactly need the virtual hand in the AR mode.

Hide the virtual hands by dragging the alpha slider to zero. There’s no problem using the menu without the virtual hands.

Also, there’s no problem in posing.

This is made possible by the AR Depth Occlusion.

These days, more users are playing in AR mode than VR mode. Why don’t you give this a try?

 

• If it’s the hand tracking mode, there’ll be a bit of trouble if you hide the virtual hands.

• Since the real fingers don’t match the tracked fingers, touching menus will be rather difficult.

These features are supported in the Pose Simulator, Dance Pack, and XR Girlfriend.

• AR occlusion takes up a bit of performance. I’m seeing a 10-20% drop in frame rates with occlusion. You can turn it off from the start screen.
• I hear Quest 3s can do this without the depth sensor. Can anyone confirm?

Looks like the hair DLC is a hit. I’ll keep adding all other hairs.

Not so sure about the shoe DLCs, but it was worth a try.

There are a lot of interesting results, and some characters are getting a complete makeover.

As a matter of fact, many faces in DOA5 are like twins. (Must be the same artist.) Faces like Momiji,Ayane or Kokoro are nice because they look unique.
